It’s 2025. A woman in her early 50s visits her parents’ house to store a box she no longer has room for in her own garage. While clearing space for it, she comes across a special shoebox covered in the kind of stickers only a teenager would use. She opens the old box expecting shoes but instead finds several cassette tapes.

One tape catches her eye: a cassette she bought back in 1988 but never played, still wrapped in its original plastic. She grabs it and hurries downstairs to the old stereo rack. She unwraps the cassette, slides it into the deck, and presses Play.

As she settles onto the dining room sofa, fusion jazz, R&B, and warm analog synths pour from the speakers, suddenly making her feel like a teenager again.
