For this debut album VILLENOIRE went down to Laval in France to record at the Apiary Studio with Amaury Sauvé who recently worked with Birds in Row, Darius and Coilguns. The result is 8 songs that together make a 36-minute blend of absolute heaviness and melody. While no song sounds alike, they all sound like VILLENOIRE. Whether it is the killer riff in ‘Rest Amazed’ that wurms its way into your ears or the vocal tirade in ‘New Memories’, every song has its way of leaving you wanting more of the same.
“WHORN” brings you post-hardcore straightforwardness for fans of Cave In, Thrice, Every Time I Die and Poison The Well and is released by Genet Records in May 2025.
