Ghost by Villa Lisas
Villa Lisas! Comprised of Brooklyn-based partners Pilar Bada and Ryan D. Lee, the duo meshes influences of her native Spain and his metropolitan New York City roots. In March, the group will release its debut four-track EP, “Ghost,” which showcases sweet vocals over a diverse set of globally influenced sounds.
Lyrically, Villa Lisas’ musical wares range from happy, danceable grooves to somber, melancholic ballads. Pilar handles lead vocals, with Ryan commandeering arrangements and instrumentation. The pair collaborates on songwriting.
