A Bosnian Sephardic version of the old narrative ballad or “Romance”: Melisenda insomne based on the 1962 recording, sung a cappella by Reverend Eliezer Abinun, and sent to us by Dr. Judith Cohen. Born in Sarajevo, Abinun was the senior cantor for the Spanish and Portuguese synagogue of London, England, for 50 years.
