We recently took down a lot of our releases from streaming in order to reupload them without selecting the YouTube Music option which creates audio-only mp4 copies of each song.

This is taking us a little while,

especially because we've been talking and talking over and over, considering just keeping the releases that have been deterring new fans of our live hxc sound on Bandcamp (making sure they're all free to unlimited stream in that case).


----------But we still have plans to finish reuploading before the year is out.

But there is a good chance that even after that period of time, we might still go back take everything down again! Because we have put several years playing songs out live, with the impression that, the new fans who are introduced to us through our live sound (808s drums gutt lows) are surprised when they click our top 5 tracks and hear On Wednesdays I am Going to Make It, or at least the 2017 studio version. When we're out there pulling up on peep playing 4ourIVer songs and shxt, they still somehow don't vibe with the same exact songs in their 2017 incarnation.

We know that our current people f with 4ourIVer, the way that it is, and we're not trying to replace it or erase it, or ever delete anything we don't believe in that or allow anything like that anymore.

But we are finding that our herstory has overpopulated the space we're bringing fans of our live sound, which wasn't as big a factor in past times playing for peep who were already fans of the studio albums. It wasn't until we discovered, the other way, that people who like our live sound first, are missing something when they go to listen, that we noticed the problem. I believe this change would have taken place sooner and in a much less confused way if both the pandemic and a few mental slips amidst the pandemic didn't take place.

So far our plan is leaning toward changing our name to VXROW, or (because many old fan peep like both our live sound + studio sound) keeping Vantana Row for less confusion and using a new logo for new releases perhaps only streaming future albums announced as mains while definitely keeping the current/future of our Bandcamp / Soundcloud as our experimental platforms for regular fun shxt f.o.c - Occasionally we would then release something new or announce that we're doing a merch/promotional campaign for a past release, then putting that release up on streaming platforms (with no intention to pull it ever again)


But truly, we may be wrong in this motivation- and are welcoming advice-

Maybe we should keep everything we have on streams and just fight to promote new projects to top rank in our track lists- this seems fair for everyone

It seemed appealing to demote a past wave of releases back down to Bandcamp, where they started from and existed solely for so long, when they sound nothing like our presentation for the unprecedented amount of people we plan to perform for in the next year.

We might have this all fcked up but

If we did something crazy like pulling it back down to Bandcamp we would probably keep Normis, that's about it. lmk any advice no matter how it feels or sounds, is welcome. I've already made a loon of myself in this rant

We played for years all for these peeps to listen to this song - half of them just confised there is no drums - but there is drums - just not on any of the good parts - jk but ---

Want to say : with the previous discussion of streamable discography --- we have no problem with any previous release, for any other reason than thru my do not have drumming or screaming - that is all - actually, with that said, 4ourIVer would perfectly fine on streaming and On "Wednesdays I Am Going To Make it" would perfectly fine on streaming, if it just had drums on it -- drums where all the 808s go. And not even in a noisy cymbal washy-corny rocky- YUNG BLUD type of way-- just literally what it would sound like live - but the cleanest yet hardest studio of such. Sorry, this is a late night no sleep post thank y'all again 4 your time on this subject.
