all hail the winter breeze as it comes and goes
oh happy flowers in the spring, come out and grow
but what am i supposed to do
if summer comes around to mess around with me?

Staring up at ceiling fans that don't exist to pass the time
watching all the weekends fall right off of the calendar,
i don’t feel fine!
but what am i supposed to do
if nobody’s in town to mess around with me?

i ran a mile in bed today
i'm tired of these summer grays
i appreciate that i had the break
but now i wish it’d end
so i can see my friends again

stayin' up to fall asleep
never really feeling neat
roasting in my boxer briefs
oh boy this boys boredom just can’t be beat

but what am i supposed to do
if someone comes around
but i missed the bus at 3?
