Shattered light fragments across tense faces—that's the visual that haunted me while producing this one. We recorded "Nightglass Pact" during the worst territorial disputes between East Bastion and the Meridian Clade, watching real-time peace talks crumble on the newsfeeds outside our studio. The tension in the city seeped into every note.

Those dulled chimes came from an actual cracked bell we salvaged from the old clocktower after it collapsed last winter. Something about its imperfect resonance captured the fragility we needed.
