So many people waste their lives praying to a God that either, A) doesn't exist, or B) doesn't give a shit about them. Religion keeps people submissive by preaching of an eternal life, taking any meaning away from this one. It makes otherwise decent people act like complete shitheads. It makes otherwise intelligent people believe bronze age myths and deny scientific truths. It has been used to justify the murder of countless lives. It has been used to legitimize the rule of kings and other hierarchies. It is the bane of human existence. It's fucking worthless.
