Stateless by Early Day Miners / Unwed Sailor / Chris Bennett
Stateless is a three-way collaboration between the Seattle/Chicago-based instrumental trio Unwed Sailor, Indiana's mostly instrumental quartet Early Day Miners, and photographer Chris Bennett. Over the course of a weekend, the two bands got together and dreamt up this score to Bennett's grainy and haunting Super 8 footage, which was filmed on various trips across the United States and Europe.

The instrumental post rock, dream pop ambience of Unwed Sailor has been guided by the vision of Johnathon Ford (Pedro the Lion/Roadside Monument.) Since starting the band in Seattle in 1998, Ford has combined these elements along with shoegaze, ambient, & film music to create the unique sound and vision of Unwed Sailor.
