So begins Tori A. Rielly’s comic ‘Waxfellow’ – the story of Alma – a nonbinary maintenance worker in the quaint deep space settlement of Danicus.

David Eyre’s piece ‘The Departure’ attempts to provide accompaniment for the introduction to the comic: the story of Aldier, told through papers found by chance in a mysterious box of artefacts belonging to the late captain.
