Mula II by Pep Mula
Pep Mula ha tornat a l’estudi amb el seu quintet M U L A per enregistrar el segon volum d’aquest projecte. (unp19).
En aquest nou disc la música de M U L A va un pas més enllà i consolida un so personal i definit, ple de textures que acompanyen melodies properes i on la improvisació n’és l’ingredient principal.
Escoltant les composicions que formen M U L A II tindrem l'oportunitat de descobrir l'imaginari d’un músic que no defalleix en la seva recerca creativa,
Aquesta recerca l'ha portat a consolidar aquest projecte que ha crescut gràcies al recolzament de Jordi Matas, Txema Riera, Miquel “Pintxo” Villar i Marc Cuevas, quatre dels músics destacats de l’escena actual que hi han aportat la seva personalitat i un so inconfusible.

Pep Mula has returned to the studio to record a second collection of music with his quintet, M U L A. (unp19).
This new disc goes further, consolidating the project with a personal focus; sound textures that carry appealing melodies and integrated improvisation.
Through the original pieces on M U L A II, we gain acces to the inner world of this fascinating musician. His ongoing creative research has been able to grow thanks to the contributions of four key figures on the Barcelona scene - Jordi Matas, Txema Riera, Miquel “Pintxo” Villar and Marc Cuevas.
