Since first meeting at Berklee College of Music in 2013, Magdalena Abrego and Allison Burik have cultivated their sound as a duo in a project titled Umbrella Pine. By utilizing a combination of alto saxophone, bass clarinet, electric guitar, and electronics, the two seek to explore possibilities within improvisation and composition.
