"My Secret" is a dreamy, moonlit original song by Ukulena, written with Henry Wagons in the summer of 2019. The two first met in 2012 when Marlena and her sister Mikayla saw Henry’s band Wagons rock The Echo in LA. Years later, fate brought them back together — and this song was born.
Inspired by Ukulena's lyric, “Just like the ocean, I’m in love with the moon,” the song became a 50/50 collaboration in writing and sound. Henry brought it to life from Australia with lush production that brought Ukulena to tears. She later finalized the mix in Hollywood and Palm Springs with David Williams in 2020.
My Secret is about being guided by the moon — a lullaby for night owls, dreamers, and sirens. It’s not a secret anymore.
