Symbiotic by UKIGI Akira (Bozhang ZHU)

Looking back, the 20th century was a century of "war and slaughter", a century of continuous technological development. How can we solve these problems. The word 'symbiosis' that comes to mind actually has a wide range of meanings. As people often say, the importance of coexistence among people of different ethnic groups in society, the significance of coexisting between the Earth and humanity, or the connection between human history and the future, has a very broad significance. Although 'symbiosis' gives a soft impression, upon careful consideration, its meaning is not as simple and beautiful as pink roses. It still has thistles and thorns. We must face those fundamental issues directly, not any individual or nation, but humanity itself and the whole.

This album reflects my thoughts over the past year about myself and the world around me. I believe that learning to coexist is essential. Just as harmony does not mean uniformity, symbiosis can exist across difference: between human beings and nature, between tradition and change, between the individual and society, between peoples and governments. Through music, I strive to express my longing for nature and for balance.
