Babeel by UKIGI Akira

Babeel sketches a false utopia: beneath the illusion of shared happiness lies suppressed pain and erased individuality. Ema, an “error” in the system, encounters echoes of the past and the alien logic of the future, ultimately confronting the core of control. Her choice is not to build a new paradise, but to shatter the old idol, returning chaos and uncertainty to humanity.

The ending is neither submission nor revival, but destruction: to shatter the false god and return the world to chaos. In doing so, it restores to humanity the fragile right to struggle, to choose, and to bear the weight of freedom.

Hope, here, is not a promised paradise—but the courage to face an unfinished world.

Musically, Babeel blends fragmented beats, free improvisation, ambient layers, and OST-like passages. At times cold and mechanical, at times fragile like breath and whispers, its ten tracks unfold as a sonic parable—part architecture, part broken memory—leaving resonances between order and ruin.

UKIGI Akira is a composer, producer, and pianist whose works move across the boundaries of ambient, experimental, and indie music.

As a student of architecture, his music often emerges between structure and intuition.
