Suzanne Tufan is an Iowa born, California raised singer songwriter with influences ranging from Joni Mitchell to Radiohead. Her sound is understated, free flowing and acoustic with a folk pop feel. Suzanne formed the band A Year Afar in 2012 and toured briefly before departing in 2014. A Year Afar's album Better Life can be found on Spotify as well as the single Freedom released in 2019.
