One of the hidden treasures of American choral music is Dorn Younger. His compositions generally employ a thick texture with infectious dissonances that create an ethereal and rich harmonic landscape. As a former trombonist himself, Younger was intrigued to compose for TROMBOTEAM!. Five Cousins is a catchy, five-voice, swing chart that is reminiscent of the tune Four Brothers made famous by the Woody Herman Band in the 1940s.
