Levana Walk by Trippin Jaguar
Sometimes the most unexpected sounds lead to the most intriguing creations. For this track, it all started with a field recording from my trip to Vietnam – a simple, unassuming sound that sparked a cascade of ideas. It reminded me of the raw, unfiltered experiences of travel, where every sound tells a story. This sound set the tone for the entire piece, adding a sense of simplicity and openness.
The creative process took a turn when I integrated this unique Vietnamese vocal, pushing it through auto-tune to create an almost artificial sound. This blend of the organic and the synthetic is what made it really stand out for me. The chorus and hook emerged from this combination, defining the entire track's character.
So this track became an example of the unexpected turns in the creative process. It's about embracing the unknown and finding beauty in the unplanned.
