Momentary Control by Trichotomy
Trichotomy collaborate with master percussionist Nozomi Omote on a new work written by Trichotomy pianist Sean Foran for the trio + Vibraphone and Marimba.
Blending the signature trio sounds of rhythmic layering with catchy melodies, the group is enhanced by the lush sounds of Marimba and Vibraphone, adding greater melodic and textural depth to the music.
With sounds reminiscent of Pat Metheny, Modern Jazz Quartet, and modern classical trailblazers Eighth Blackbird, Caroline Shaw, and YMusic.
MOMENTARY CONTROL is available as a comprehensive multimedia release including the audio track, in-studio video, composer interviews and notes, full score & parts, and online backing tracks.
