The Progression by Bruce Stevens

The Progression is my very first official mixtape, recorded in my downtown Los Angeles apartment between 2008 and 2010. This project captures the hunger, ambition, and raw energy of my early years as an artist—long before I became Tree of Lyfe.

These songs represent a moment in time when I was finding my voice, experimenting with sounds, and pushing forward despite the odds. This is where my journey truly began.

Thank you for revisiting this chapter with me. Whether you’ve been here since day one or are just now discovering my story, this tape is a piece of my foundation—and I’m proud to finally have it available for you to hear again.
