An animist rock&roll cartoon journey across multiple dimensions with the space-traveling spell-casting magical raccoon girls of Trash Panda Go Kart 🤘💕🚀

RACCOON GODS (The Album) is a rock&roll spell made up smaller rock&roll spells.

Or, RACCOON GODS (The Album) is a grimoire containing crystals, bones, vacuum tubes, feathers, teeth, teacup hooks, fuses, seashells, guitar picks & drum keys & bits of fur, & sundry shiny objects.

A circle is cast & we offer the beat to our ancestors & the lineage of rock&roll women who came before us & to those who will come after. We chase out the evil spirits, state our intentions, & slip into Higher Realms. We share snacks & cavort under the moon w/ critter friends & spirits, then a quick countdown before speeding back to our Natural Habitat; where we stare adoringly at the Borealis & rest up for Next Week's Episode.

You can think of this album as an assortment of treasures & tiny (loud) friends — shiny surprises, yummy snacks, delightful critters, mementos & souvenirs from many shared adventures — offered to all with joyfully open hearts.

Selena Kane (electric guitar & sing: she/her) & Zinnia Su (drums & sing: she/her) didn't get around to forming a band together until they'd been a couple for fourteen years already.

When they write songs, they try to keep in mind, what would raccoons do.
(If raccoons wrote pop music!)

The band—Trash Panda Go Kart—is named after their car, sort of.
It's hard to explain, but if you've ever driven stick in Seattle (or some other preposterously hilly city), you might understand.

Trash Panda Go Kart resides on a forested island in the Pacific Northwest, not too far from Seattle—surrounded by trees, moss, cats, books, ocean, & other things large & small.
