Lenses_01 by TRAINDEER

Lenses_01 The overgrown memory-lanes of our hometowns and villages, the warmth of morning hellos, the clamour of open air market stalls, the tang of industry in the air and the beloved pubs and gathering places now, long shuttered and silenced by time.

Lenses_01 was written and recorded over July and August 2025.
The first two tracks use a hybrid system of Ableton Live, a modular synth, vinyl sampling, tape players, old radios and effects pedals.
Track 3 is a generative piece using a Sinclair ZX Spectrum and effects pedal, recorded to tape. More elements were added later in Ableton Live.
Track 4 is a program for the ZX spectrum that was used to make track 3 "Cyan".
