Diplomatic Immunity by Hyperboreans

We are extremely pleased to present to you the second Hyperboreans EP, “Diplomatic Immunity,” on our very own TOUCH Samadhi Recordings. Here we have three slices of 120-bpm future funk, once again blurring the lines between genres to deliver an experience of joy and kinship at home and on the dancefloor.

These tracks to represent transmissions from the as-yet hidden Hyperborean civilization, which despite its advanced technology and egalitarian society is developing great concern for our shared world. Behind its invisible forcefield, Hyperborea is a gentle land populated by dodos and wooly mammoths, where all people are treated with dignity, and poverty and war are distant memories. But even so, Earth’s atmosphere fills with carbon pollution, and wars of conquest rage everywhere. Even Hyperborea cannot remain silent. We send this music to you to inspire your hearts and minds to courage, kindness, and resistance.

We would like to extend special thanks to Kri, for his permission to remix “The Next Step Forward” and for his tireless work on moving our label forward. We would also like to thank our friend and compatriot Cai, whose enthusiasm for the Annunaki original inspired our remix.
