ΠΙΘΗΚΥΣΣΑΙ (Pithekoussai) by BAERHARD

The Concept of this work is inspired by the love for the island of Ischia and by two books: "Epomeo, son of Agarthi" by Salvatore Marino Iacono and "Mysteries of Ischia" by Massimo Coppa which refer to the "theory of the hollow Earth ”, According to which the planet Earth inside houses other life forms.
Three titles of the traces of this project, are real places of the island of Ischia:
Mavone's cave
Falanga's forest
Epoemo mountain
The last trace of the ep is just Agartha, the underground world that is told in the legends related to the "theory of the hollow Earth".
An underground world inhabited by human beings, plants, animals, but also by other non-human species that live in peace with each other and in total harmony with nature.
The capital of Agartha is Shambala, in this underground world there is oxygen, sun and water, according to legend the King of the World lives in the temple of Shambala. Access to human beings that inhabit the Earth is currently inhibited. One day the inhabitants of Agartha will reveal themselves to us, when we will need their help to be saved from the collapse of planet Earth.

Bæhard was born in Naples in the mid-70s, spent his adolescence playing with mixers and decks, in the mid-90s he decided to start producing his own music with an atari 1200st. As a boy he loves Techno music. In the early 90's he listens to a lot of reggae music and it is almost by chance that he discovers the dub, which he loves immediately. Techno and Dub thus become a living reason for him, so labels like Basic Channel become his point of reference. So he unites his two greatest loves.
He does not like to be seen in public, he does not like performing live or performing DJ sets, he loves the sea is the island of Ischia.
