Subtle Sources from Dandelions by Total Flower Chaos

"Subtle Sources" was born of an improvised jam that sounded like a song right out of the box. Connor trimmed it down, preserving the general order and some happy accidents, which inspired the song's introduction and the atypical bar count. Rob's guitar solo and Ryan's bass lines closely resemble their original improvisations. After imagining the song's opening line, the verses quickly fell into place, but the song lacked a chorus. A week before the band returned to the studio to record vocals, Connor conjured up the chorus on a mountain in Idaho.
