IMPULSE ENSEMBLE is Tony Vacca, Derrik Jordan and Jim Matus. These three musicians and composers share a lifelong interest in the converging traditions and innovations that are constantly redefining what it is to be a contemporary American musician.
These six compositions are overflowing with a wide range of instruments and textures, and a fluid approach to a world of musical traditions. It's the signature of the band both live and in the studio and it's in full force in this recording.
