He’s working for you and he’s working for me;
That ‘savage dead sheep’ opposition MP.
His smile’s as real as all his concerns,
Especially about all the millions he earns.
Ersatz as acorns, as sweet as a plum,
Smooth as a viper, as low as its bum.
Shocked by the scandals, repelled by the rot
Envious as hell of the power he’s not got.

He’s an ersatz sunrise in aglow in our skies
His well rehearsed lines hiding nothing but lies.
A smooth one who sweeps clean, just like a new broom.
He smiles as he sweeps truth away to its doom.

A backstabbing Judas with blood on his hands
Loyalty’s only one thing he demands
of his minions who follow along in his wake
Their hagiographic allegiance so fake.
He’d sell his own mother as cheap as his creed.
Of lessons in cunning, he’s really no need.
A real false-friend of working class guys
That beer he’s holding is just a disguise

Now a vote for the left is a vote for the right
Our hope of the day becomes fear of the night

Justice and truth are delusions and dreams.
Now red can turn purple and purple turn blue
But yellow is yellow, there’s nothing so true
as yellow turns green when blue mixes with it
so our politics now is all one shade of sh*t.
