This is a collage of recordings from a dahabeya boat in the Nile, between Luxor and Aswan. Some of the voices are the crew as they fished from the bow of the boat. The water sound combined with the engine was recorded from the window of our cabin. The pitches and durations played by the virtual Pyramid percussion is derived entirely from the field recordings.
