When I look upon that river it seems so wide
Don’t want to swim across for fear I might die
And the mountain it looks to me to be so high
My legs shake and tremble at the thought of the climb
Then I reflect and reminisce on what I see
And a still small voice whispers this to me

Think about the stars the sky and the moon
By the span of my hand they were all created for you
So don’t you worry about what it is you see
Cause my eyes on the sparrow
And I know his eyes are watching me

Sometimes it’s so easy to walk by what you see
And to gauge your future based on your history
But I know a man who has a better plan
And he holds it all in the palm of his hand
So it’s up to you as to the win or the lose
Not in the luck of the draw
But in who you choose
