When I walk down the streets and along the avenues
I hear the children shout I think of you
I think of times we’ve had and the times we'll see soon
How we're drawn together like the earth and the moon

And when the lamps light up the falling snow
My footsteps tell me where I need to go
And though the path that's left may wind a time or two
I head straight for the light that leads to you

Grey Mother Sea will roll on evermore
Like a choir the tides run high with their refrain
Like water I return to you again
