Erdfisch by Erdfisch
Henning and Marius met about 15 years ago while studying music at ArtEZ Conservatory in the Netherlands. Having been friends and close musical allies since, they have been involved in numerous projects together, in which Henning often took on production and sound engineering work. Their Electronic crossover project Erdfisch had a first spell 10 years ago, playing after-hour sets at alternative Rave stages across Germany.
On their debut full length album Henning and Marius showcase a more intricate side of their music. Sharing both instrumental and compositional duties, this very personal work is based on layers of improvisation that have been recorded and post-arranged between Athens and a small village called Sklirou in the mountains of Peloponnese Greece – as well as post-industrial town Mülheim a. d. Ruhr in northwestern Germany.
The limited cassette edition comes along with a unique A3 riso print, designed by Panos Baras.
