GIG ECONOMY (or: how I learned stop worrying and love mistakes)

This is the first thing I've recorded since 2019. I recorded it alone in my loft a single day, mixed and mastered it in another sitting. All 4 tracks are single takes with bass and voice played live, 2 of the 4 are the first take I played.

All of which is to say, it's not perfect. And I suppose that's the point. It felt right to capture a real sense of the noise I make with my face and an instrument, warts and all. It's a noise I can't stop making, so I hope people enjoy hearing it.

I'm planning this as the first of a series of EP releases that will continue throughout 2023, so if you're not already following me and you enjoy this, please opt in.
