«Treibender und tanzbarer Minimal-Synth-Wave in derTradition von OPPENHEIMER ANALYSIS kommt von den PLAGUE PITS aus der Schweiz. Die Tracks sind nicht mehr so dunkel und apokalyptisch wie auf dem Vorgänger, sondern haben mitunter etwas von der distinguierten Klarheit von KRAFTWERK zu Zeiten von «Das Model". Aber auch ein Jean-Michel Jarre zu Zeiten von .Oxygène" (1976) blitzt bei «Picturesque ruins of the near future" durch. „A sort of harmony" könnte indes ein früher Song von FAD GADGET und als Single 1982 auf Mute erschienen sein, um letztlich im Vorprogramm von THE NORMAL zu enden. Die Texte drehen sich um die Klimakatastrophe und die Empathielosigkeit in der Gesellschaft. Die PLAGUE PITS sind ein neuer Stern in ihrem Genre.»
