I can still see the light on her face
In the morning
She was sleeping
Kissed her once then drove to my workplace
Had no warning
She was leaving

Doesn't time seem to flow by so fast
How did I ever let her slip through my grasp?

Restless river
Keeps on rolling
Always leaving things behind
Can she change her ways
Will she ever change her mind?

So I sit and reflect on the things
We did together
When things were better
And I miss all the sweetness she'd bring
All the laughter
Is it really gone forever?
