Swayambhu by Third Eye Sound
Inspired by a temple in Kathmandu , Nepal. Swayambhunath, sits on a steep hill in Kathmandu. pilgrims from around India and Nepal travel to worship here. Meaning self-arising' or 'self-sprung'. Buddhism and Hinduism are comingled as are a lot of temples in Kathmandu. Most of the time you won't find one without the other.
Much of Swayambhu's iconography comes from the Vajrayana tradition of Newar Buddhism. However, the complex is an important site for Buddhists of many schools and is also revered by Hindus.
This track offers the healing sounds of bells and Tibetan singing bowls. I hope you enjoy it.
