Galliumarsenid - Lucifer of the industrial world order. This is the material of the 21st century. It plays a central roll as a semiconductor used in information transfer, may it be by light or radio. Without GaAs high frequency communication, opto-electronics, low noise high frequency amplification, solar energy etc. would not be possible. Silicon get all the glamour but GaAs is the real thing.

THIDF was originally founded back in 1999 and focused on Noise and Drone live sets. After dramatic changes in my life, the project rested, til 2014. I decided to revive it, as my love and designation to experimental music, especially Cold Drone, Dark Drone, Dark Ambient and the lack of immanence in this genre urges me to do something. The new wave of analog synth-tech enabled me to do so.
