Destination Depletion by Thorium Heavy Industries Development Facilities

Attention: This release was originally recorded on a Revox-Tape-Machine. Lesson learned: Don´t use old tapes and there are only old and very old tapes. It has some "klick" noises, where the tape had errors. After that recording I switched to a Sony PCM digital recorder... which lack of the analog feeling, but without bad surprises. I add this release for the sack of completeness.

This is another non-vocal dark ambient release, completely produced with analog gear from front to back. It was recorded, than re-recorded with flanker-pedal added to give it a more stereo atmosphere from Stereo-Revox-Tape to PC. This remastering has more bass and slightly enhanced hi-frequencies.

THIDF was originally founded back in 1999 and focused on Noise and Drone live sets. After dramatic changes in my life, the project rested, til 2014. I decided to revive it, as my love and designation to experimental music, especially Cold Drone, Dark Drone, Dark Ambient and the lack of immanence in this genre urges me to do something. The new wave of analog synth-tech enabled me to do so.
