Binding Leviathan from Binding Leviathan by Thorium Heavy Industries Development Facilities

This track is inspired by a visit at "The Cold Hell", the KZ Mittelbau Dora an underground factory for "secret weapons" e.g. JU-88, V2. A place of darkness, a place best described with the famous words of Dante´s Divina Commedia "Abandon hope all ye who enter here". People entering the Cold Hell were living dead, living dead who were force to produce weapons of war, the so called Wunderwaffen and weapons of revenge. Within 3-4 weeks in the artificial caverns of Mittelbau Dora they became as cold as the surrounding rocks. After the war soviets filled the caverns with explosive, but failed to destroy them.

THIDF was originally founded back in 1999 and focused on Noise and Drone live sets. After dramatic changes in my life, the project rested, til 2014. I decided to revive it, as my love and designation to experimental music, especially Cold Drone, Dark Drone, Dark Ambient and the lack of immanence in this genre urges me to do something. The new wave of analog synth-tech enabled me to do so.
