Washington, DC-based band, The Wine-Dark Sea, blends delicate beauty and crushing noise in their most ambitious album to date, The Comet. Diving deeper than ever before into the tension between light and shadow, stillness and rage, the band found solace in the forests of West Virginia. During these sessions, the band constructed an album that tackles themes of climate grief, personal loss, and the malleability of memory. Equal parts mysterious and majestic, The Comet is a tale of hubris, destruction, and the possibility of redemption.
