Years after their inevitable demise at the hands of the ever-ruthless Jonathan Musicmaker, The Whole Wheat Nuns have collectively crawled out of their gold-plated sarcophagi to once again defy the expectations of what music can be and put an end to Jonathan Musicmaker’s reign. Will they succeed? No. Are they anywhere closer to breaking through musical norms? Not at all. However, you will undoubtedly find yourself mystified and hypnotized by the soothing, yet harsh sounds of The Whole Wheat Nuns newest project, “Fleebag.” Feel free to play along.
