'One Band - Three Personae!'
All profits from sales will be donated to the Mary Steven's Hospice in Stourbridge, West Midlands, England.

Continuing the long tradition of folk tunes being heard, remembered, and passed on, The Weatheroak‘s mission is to interpret traditional (and ‘modern traditional’ - otherwise known as original) folk music, adding a heavier beat and the odd interpretive solo for good measure.
Using a range of acoustic instruments, including an occasional appearance of the three stringed rebec, the sound is supplemented with more modern technology, notably the Arturia Keystep.

All music is recorded in as few takes as possible in order to replicate as authentic a folk-rock sound as possible.

Tunes are selected from the band's collective memory and arranged to showcase the notes from a bygone age. Or, in the words of Bear, “If it’s got a good beat, a great tune, and room for a bit of melodic improvisation, we’ll rock it!”
