every year as summer arrives it's a fight for survival, for me. I work seasonally speaking to german tourists about my homeland, trying to share with them my love for this territory between mountains and sea.

but it is a lovely job, not many have the chance to work en-plein-air in a beautiful country. at the same time it is kind of a course for developing music with proper focus on melodies, instruments, emotions to convey.

so this album has been developed adding few elements every night over a long span of time, creating evolving textures starting from old elements I have in my recording archives, and building up from them.

it is also an homage to the low-lands laying between the mountains and the flat-land behind Venice.
