Numbers by The Tulpa Effect
This album marks the return of The Tulpa Effect as Kevin Ian Common's solo outfit. This album is more noise based, drawing on different sources for it's material. The bulk of it--however--was lifted from various hours of toying with pedals and over-driving the iPhone beyond it's threshold of tolerance.
This is an album composed specifically for the 12in12x12 composition game. The series was created by conceptual artist Jim Mendola of Lockport, New York. The participants all will create 12 new works a month for each month in 2013.
Unfortunately, with the move to SF and various life-changes happening all month, I could not devote the full time I wanted to this album. I am very happy with what I produced, though.
