Tundra by The torture chamber
Tundra... an endless and almost lifeless desert. Our protagonist will have to face it, who woke up all alone at an old scientific station where they studied life in these eternally cold lands.
"Where is everyone? There are no movements of people who usually scurry and breathe into their hands when entering from the street.
I looked out the frozen window, and all the equipment was in place. The old all-terrain vehicle is in the same place where it stayed yesterday.
After getting dressed, I went outside. The damn wind is chilling to the bones. The miserable rays of the sun break through the falling snow, trying to somehow warm this permafrost.
Walking around the station, I didn't even see any footprints. I came back and went into the radio room. Nothing is working. There is no connection... panic! No, it's unacceptable here.
A couple of hours later, I packed up my things and set off across the frozen plain..."
