All I want to do is just go to sleep
But there’s something around that starts to creep
I close my eyes but sounds make me want to weep
A spooky sound too scared to let out a peep
I swear that I saw something moving over there
I nudge you gently but you don’t seem to care
Can’t you see we could possibly die?
Its 3am you say, won’t open an eye

There’s a monster under my bed
And we’re all gonna die

What did I do? What can I say?
We gotta go, theres no other way

I throw off my covers when it gets too hot
I slept too deep and I straight up forgot
I woke up and standing there to my surprise
Heavy breathing a pair of yellow eyes
Hide under the covers to keep me safe
The blanket’s hot and heavy, starting to chafe
Don’t know what I’ll do if I have to fight
Stay safe under covers and I’ll be alright

I thought my bed was too low to the ground
to have monsters under it

Don’t really wanna disagree
But this is a true mystery
And everyone is running round
Ignoring the obvious sounds
It can’t just be me that sees
That we’re in trouble
This is our history

They stand there staring with their dead eyes
Turn you into something that you despise
It’s only an hour left until dawn but I’m not gonna make it
