The last of the pre-'Sophie' recordings to be given a (very) light remastering (just sorting some issues with the levels between songs, really...); end-to-end, it should play a little more ear-pleasingly now.

Am still trying to get hold of the original multitrack recordings, so that a root-and-branch remix of some of the songs can be done... still something of a long-term project, alas. Hey-ho.

September 2019 (regarding the June 2001-completed recording):

The album which was due to be released on the US Sandcastle label... before it folded. D'oh..! Shelved ever since. More consistent, we reckon, than 'Brave New Girl' - although the odd dicey mix, here and there. The original recordings have been lost, alas, so a much yearned-for remix is forever off the cards.

Please, please - feel no obligation to pay anything for this - it's here more as a museum piece than anything else - although feel free to send over an email if you'd like to. And look out for some new Chickpea Darlings recordings in the near future.
