Coeur Kamikaze by The Rodeo + Huan Huan

This song is an international collaboration between Taiwanese indie band Huan Huan and French artist The Rodeo, carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic. Upon visiting Taiwan, The Rodeo made the most of the imposed quarantine to create music, including the motif of the song “Coeur Kamikaze.” When Huan Huan and The Rodeo were finally able to meet, they connected over this lonely experience away from home. They worked on the song together, adding elements from indie and psych rock that struck a chord with them both. “Coeur Kamikaze” is about loneliness, about missing someone deeply. It is about the barriers between people who love each other and who sometimes go a little crazy because of this.
