The Oychestra by The Oychestra
The Oychestra’s self-titled debut EP is a collection of arrangements meant to channel the alt velt (old world) Jewish Klezmer, the great American Klezmer music of the early to mid 1900s and beyond . Inspired by the circle dances, festivities and great joys of a simcha, the music on this record aims to get your butt out of the seat! It features a collection of classic Klezmer repertoire arranged by The Oychestra’s leader and drummer, Jared Goldman.
