Americana is the fifth studio album by the American punk rock band the Offspring. The original was a major success, debuting at number six on the Billboard 200. Americana has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, with over 9 million copies certified, while achieving 5x platinum status alone in the United States for 5 million copies shipped. The album contains the hit singles "Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)", "Why Don't You Get a Job?" and "The Kids Aren't Alright".

The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Over the course of their career, they have released ten studio albums and are often credited—alongside fellow California bands Green Day and Rancid—for reviving mainstream interest in rock in the 90's. They have sold over 40 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling rock bands in history.
