A feeling I sometimes get that most people are in some kind of hostile or competitive mindset a lot of the time. It could be as simple as a glare in the street, as blatant as physical violence or a subtle rivalry over jobs/ money/ houses/ cars you name it. Britain is a pretty tense place at the moment.
